A new Coronavirus vaccine is available for the first time. Millions of people will be able to receive new booster doses targeting Omicron subvariants in the coming weeks and months. The FDA has approved two options in the US, for instance: one made by Pfizer for use in children as young as 12 and one made by Moderna for older adults. As long as the last shot was at least two months ago, anyone who has completed their initial shots can receive this dose, whether or not they have also received booster shots. In spite of the new boosters now available, it is imperative that we check ourselves and our family members for symptoms of COVID. When we feel sick, we should always perform a self-test and check our temperature at least twice a day. Using a thermometer which is accurate and easy to use, like the temporal artery thermometer of Exergen can be a big help!
