Exergen Corp expands presence in India

Signs up a new distributor; Temporal Artery Thermometers now available via Government e-Market Place (GEM)

WATERTOWN, Mass. – Exergen Corp, a global leader in infrared temperature measurement technologies for medical applications, announced today that it has signed up two new distributors in India. The Temporal Artery Thermometers, designed and manufactured by Exergen in USA, are now available on the Government e-Market Place (GEM) as well.

Exergen has also announced that its Temporal Artery Thermometers are now available via the Government e-Market Place or GEM. GEM is a very important initiative launched by the Indian government to stimulate the use of e-Marketplaces for public procurement. GEM is an online marketplace that was launched in 2016. It provides an open, transparent and efficient way for hospitals and other healthcare institutions to purchase medical devices and other products and services.

Both the TAT-5000, TAT-2000 and TAT-2000C will be available via Mediserve and GEM.
